Privacy and cookies

Effective 12 October 2026

This notice covers the taskports.com website. Questions: info [at] taskports [dot] com.

What this website collects

The site has no forms and no accounts. If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete them when they are no longer needed. Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse (Cloudflare privacy policy).

Always on, no cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, uses no fingerprinting and builds no profiles; it records aggregate figures such as pages viewed, referring site, country, browser and device type. We rely on our legitimate interest in knowing whether the site is read.

Cookies, only if you accept

When you first visit, the site asks whether you accept cookies. Until you choose, and if you choose Reject, none of the tools below is loaded and no cookie is set. If you accept, we use:

  • Google Analytics 4 (analytics): which pages are read and how visitors find the site (pages, time on page, referrer, approximate location, device). Cookies _ga and _ga_<id>, up to 2 years. Google keeps the data for 14 months. Provider: Google Ireland Ltd and Google LLC.
  • Google Tag Manager, which loads the tags above and sets no cookies of its own.
  • Meta Pixel (advertising): whether our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to visits, and showing those ads to people likely to be interested. Cookies _fbp and _fbc, 90 days. Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.

The legal basis for these is your consent. Google and Meta may process this data in the United States under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Before you choose, Google Consent Mode is set to "denied".

Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) for 12 months. Change it at any time with Cookie settings; if you withdraw consent, the cookies above are deleted from this site.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of personal data we hold about you, or for it to be corrected or deleted, by emailing the address above. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
